MISCELLANEOUS CONSULAR SERVICES

All Miscellaneous Consular Services must be applied online through the SEWA Portal: https://indianconsularservices.mea.gov.in/consularServices/

Applicants are requested to carefully follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Registration / Login

  1. Visit the SEWA portal: https://indianconsularservices.mea.gov.in/consularServices/
  2. New users must register on the portal by creating a User ID and password using their email address.
  3. After successful registration, login to the portal using the registered credentials.

Step 2: Apply for the Required Service

  1. After logging in, choose the required service from the list of services.
  2. Fill in the online application form with the correct personal details.
  3. Upload the required supporting documents as specified for the selected service.
  4. Review the details carefully and submit the application online.

Step 3: Verification of Application

  1. The Consulate will verify the application and documents submitted online.
  2. Applicants will receive a notification on the portal regarding the status of the application.
  3. If any discrepancy or additional document is required, the same will be communicated through the portal.
  4. Applicants must upload the correct documents and re-submit the application online.

Step 4: Submission of Documents at the Consulate

  1. Once the application is approved/verified online, the applicant must print the completed application form from the portal.
  2. Visit the Consulate with:
  • Printed and signed application form
  • One set of photocopies of all uploaded documents
  • Original documents for verification

Submission Timing:
Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays)
09:30 AM – 12:00 PM

Where applicable, applications may also be sent by post (SEDEX) along with the required documents.

Step 5: Collection of Processed Documents

After processing, the ready document can be collected from the Consulate on any working day between 03:00 PM – 04:00 PM.

If the applicant has provided a return SEDEX envelope and submitted the SEDEX fee of R$ 70, the processed document may also be sent by post.

Important Notes:

  1. Applicants are advised to visit/send documents to the Consulate only after receiving confirmation of verification/approval on the SEWA portal.
  2. No prior appointment is required for submission or collection of documents.
  3. Applicants should ensure that all documents uploaded online are clear and legible to avoid delays in processing.
