Launch of AIR SUVIDHA 2.0
The Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India and DIAL have launched AIR SUVIDHA 2.0, an upgraded contactless Passenger Health Self-Declaration Portal for international arrivals, to strengthen public health surveillance in response to the ongoing Ebola outbreak.
The portal enables passengers to submit mandatory health declarations, including 21-day travel history, exposure history and symptoms, before immigration clearance. It also facilitates real-time data sharing with health and immigration authorities for swift identification and referral of at-risk travellers.
Passengers can complete the Self-Declaration Form up to 24 hours before arrival in India for faster and seamless clearance.
