The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) is pleased to announce 01 slot for Brazilian Nationals under its prestigious scholarship scheme for the academic year 2026–27.
The ICCR Scholarship Scheme is a flagship initiative of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, aimed at promoting cultural exchange and strengthening educational ties between India and partner countries, including Brazil. The program offers international students the opportunity to pursue undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral studies at leading Indian universities and institutions.

Scholarship Details:

  • Name of Scheme: Atal Bihari Vajpayee General Scholarship Scheme (A1201)
  • Countries covered: 122
  • Number of Slots: 625 (01 slot for Brazilian Nationals) 
  • Level of Courses offered: UG, PG and Ph.D.
  • Streams offered: Stem/ Non Stem
  • Prohibited Courses/Streams : Medical, Law and Integrated
  • Airfare: Return Economy class airfare to the airport nearest  to the place of study & 3 tier AC train fare (if so required) to the place of study in India.
  • Facilities : Stipend, HRA, Contingent Allowances, Thesis/Dissertation Allowance, Airfare, Tuition fee/OCF paid to Universities (Norms attached)
  • Charges payable by the student: Hostel/private, Accommodation charges, mess charges, security deposit, caution money, fees for obtaining all certificate, registration fees/penalties for registration/updation with immigration authorities, any other fees/charges which are not covered under  scholarship norms.
